Refreshing a SensePrint face

Re-issues an existing SensePrint as a freshly-keyed V4 SensePrint verified against the same person's face.

This endpoint re-issues an existing SensePrint as a freshly-keyed V4 SensePrint, verified against the same person's face. The previous SensePrint can be any version (V1, V2, V3, or V4). All metadata, cleartext_data, extra_binary_data, and tolerance settings are preserved in the new SensePrint.

Use this endpoint to:

  • Migrate older SensePrints to V4 without re-enrolling the user
  • Re-key an existing SensePrint when the underlying face template needs to be refreshed

Liveness is not checked during refresh. The liveness requirement on the new SensePrint is set independently via require_live_face.
